Meet The Interesting Life Company Team
Nigel Bradshaw
Nigel has over 38 years experience in the life protection industry. Co-inventor of Self Assurance from Scottish Provident, in 2001 he left to run his own consultant company providing actuarial and proposition development expertise. He was a founding director, until its sale in 2023, of the Forensic Testing Service, which provided drug and alcohol laboratory reports for child care proceedings. He is currently also Chair of More Metrics, providing postcode-level products modelled from open-source data.
Nigel has always believed that all disciplines need to work together to maximise the value for a company and its customers.
Andrew Wibberley
Andrew has worked in the life insurance market for a mere 25 years. He has worked for and with insurers, advisers, start ups, tech firms and reinsurers.
His core knowledge lies around underwriting and he seeks to deploy this in other areas of insurance to improve outcomes. To that end he was chair of the underwriting work of the government backed insurance Access To Insurance initiative and co-chair of the IPTF (Income Protection Task Force) from 2021-24. Andrew was awarded the CII Public Trust Award for Building Public Trust in Life, Pensions and Long-term savings in 2020 and recognised as one of the 25 champions of Protection by Cover Magazine in 2022.
